I love the spiral design hat that I make but it is more suitable for a female. I wanted to come up with a design that was more manly. This ribbed beanie turned out excellent. It is 100% alpaca and very soft. It is a rich dark brown to bay black color. I tried it on and it is actually one of the only hats that I have ever looked good in so I will have to make another one just for me. It is a lighter weight yarn so it does not sit heavy on your head.
